Pilla product quality

The quality of the "Pilla Product" is characterised by the Pilla Finish, recognised on the market as being of the highest quality since 1935. This high protection process achieves two objectives in one: maintaining the total inalterability of the products over time and also ensuring maximum sharpness and definition of the reliefs of the shapes and figures represented. The Pilla Finish features SIX steps in the high protection painting system, with FOUR coats of paint, which imply the product stopping four times during production to prepare it for the next stage. These four coats consist of a brushable varnish to highlight the reliefs of the figures, and THREE high-temperature protective transparent coats. In order to ensure resistance to oxidation and to prevent the colours fading, red dyes are not used in the Pilla Finish, thus avoiding the use of any additive that could weaken the paint resistance. Each product completed with the Pilla Finish has a characteristic colour, namely the yellow shade typical of classic quality bronze, which helps to show off the very high quality standard of the product.

1. Use ONLY non-acetic silicone
2. HANDLE WITH CARE: the painted metal products are delicate..
Any impact with other rigid surfaces can damage the protective layer, reducing the resistance to oxidation.
1. Clean with a SOFT WET CLOTH: rough surfaces can damage the finish of the product and therefore promote oxidation.
2. AVOID the use of generic chemicals.
We recommend the Pilla polishing and protective spray, or a product suitable for the protection of cars, as our lacquers are identical to those used by the most prestigious car manufacturers.

The alloy used for the castings has a 65% copper percentage.
